Medium Stretch All-purpose Bandage

Firm-grip, all purpose bandage with durable elasticity and with a wide range of applications: everyday retention bandages with compressive wound care, or splint dressings, for support and pressure relief; also for light compression.

ORTHOTIF ELZET BANDAGES

Elzet and elzet ‘S’ are lightweight compression bandages used to provide compression for the leg following vascular surgery and for general surgical and orthopaedic use.

Elset ‘S’ is specifically recommended for above and below knee stump bandaging.

KOMPREX PADS

The right product for every need: Komprex foam rubber pads, bandages and sheets, and Komprex II foam sheets retain their elasticity. They are used for compression in oedema treatment in phlebology and lymphology and as a functional bandage in sports medicine. The products are sold in a range of sizes in ready-for-use formats. TG® GLOVE

The tg Glove helps with the treatment of dermatological conditions on the hand. The ready-for-use dressing is used as a covering for dermatological conditions such as contact eczema and photodermatosis. It is also used to cover skin being treated with medicines. The use of unbleached cotton the glove is tolerated well – especially by diseased and sensitive skin. Because the glove can be washed and sterilized, it has the advantage of being reusable during long-term therapy. In addition, the glove can also be used in orthopaedics and trauma surgery.

VARICEX ZINC PASTE BANDAGES

Varicex is a bandage saturated with zinc paste. It is ready for use and saves time when applying semi-rigid permanent bandages in thrombophlebitis, oedema treatment, chronic venous insufficiency, lower leg ulcers in the healing phase and follow-up care of fractures.

Varicex zinc paste bandages are fairly inconspicuous — regardless of whether they are applied in circular turns with an elastic bandage (Varicex E or S) or in half figure-eight turns — and are available in different versions.

CAST BOOTS

Recovery after surgery or wound care treatment at home can be sped up by the use of cast boots. These boots minimize the pressure on wounds for faster healing while allowing you to maintain your mobility. Cast boots can be adapted to fiberglass casts, bulky compression bandages and a variety of woundcare applications.

CELLACAST ACTIVE

The appropriate cast for cases that require both immobilisation and controlled movement.

Cellacast® Active offers good mobility and partial immobilisation at the same time. Particularly suitable for moulding children’s casts.

Cellacast® Active is fast and easy to apply and its thin carrier material allows it to conform excellently to body contours – even to areas that are difficult to dress. The soft tubular padding bandage thereby acts both as a skin protection and a padding. Polyester fabric impregnated with polyurethane resin.

CELLACAST SPLINTS

The Cellacast Splint is the solution for patients and healthcare professionals. The Ready-for-use Padded Splint with padding on both sides is simple to use and versatile, provides a high degree of stability and is comfortable to wear.

The Ready-for-use Padded Splint meets the individual requirements of healthcare professionals and is comfortable against patients’ skin. Different widths, available as pre-cut sizes or by the meter in practical cardboard dispensers, make for economic use of the materials. A resealable, airtight foil pouch prevents the product from drying out. The splint is secured with a conforming bandage like Mollelast haft and can be taken off easily, if necessary (e.g. to inspect the wound). The fibreglass core, which is composed of seven layers, provides the required stability.

CELLACAST® XTRA CASTING TAPE

Thin, lightweight and stable — this modern synthetic casting tape provides secure stabilization.

A high degree of stability is required of casts, especially when treating fractures and after surgery. Lightweight casts are more comfortable and restrict patients the least. Cellacast Xtra is a lightweight casting tape which provides the desired level of stability in only a few wraps. This makes it both sturdy and lightweight enough to be worn comfortably.

The casting tape can be moulded to any body contour – even difficult-to-wrap area around joints – and is easy and quick to apply. In addition, this material has excellent lamination properties, making it attractive in terms of cost savings as well.

CELLONA® PADDING BANDAGES

The padding bandage is used for partial, flat or circular undercast padding with plaster casts, synthetic casts and splints to prevent pressure points. The material remains fluffy even on exposure to moisture. It is flexible and efficient to use.

CELLONA® PLASTER OF PARIS BANDAGES

Cellona Plaster of Paris bandages is used to mould immobilizing casts on injured or fractured limbs.

Applying Cellona Plaster of Paris Bandages saves time and they can be easily adapted to the contours of the area of the body being treated. They have a relatively short immersion time so they become soaked through quickly. In addition, the finished bandage sets rapidly and is safe for transport after 30 minutes. They are fully set after around 24 hours.

CELLONA® self-adhesive PADDING

The Cellona Padding is used as a supple, non-slip application for partially padded plaster of Paris and synthetic casts at all pressure-sensitive areas. It is used to prevent pressure points from forming, thus improving wearing comfort.

The strong point of the air-permeable material is its self-adhesive property which makes the padding material non-slip. This is due to a skin-friendly adhesive which is applied in strips to the padding. The padding is available in a number of sizes and thicknesses and comes in a foil pouch or rolled.

CELLONA® Synthetic Undercast Padding

Cellona Synthetic Undercast Padding is a synthetic padding material which is used to protect exposed bones and nerves under plaster of Paris and synthetic casts. This product retains its loft and elasticity over time.

The Synthetic Undercast Padding can be used for a number of different applications. In addition to its protective function under plaster of Paris and synthetic casts, it is used as padding for splints and compression bandages. In wound care, the synthetic cotton wool is used for padding when combined with textile dressings or paraffin gauze dressings.

100% polyester fibres; no optical brighteners.

CREPE BANDAGES

This reusable crepe bandage is 100% cotton crepe and is used as a light support for minor sprains, strains and compression. Great to have in your kit as it can be used for a multitude of things: holding on ice packs, using as a compressive bandage on any limb, holding a dressing pad in place over a wound, and many more.

HAFTAN®

Haftan is a thin (0.8 mm) and supple bandage made from white polyurethane foam. It is non-slip and non-bulky.

The PU foam is very sturdy and it reduces the penetration of moisture. Haftan is also used for supportive joint (sports) taping in combination with adhesive bandages or tape.

KRAMER WIRE SPLINTS

WALKING HEELS for casting

A cast heel can be an added to any cast to convert it to a walking cast.

The deep tread of our walking heels provides comfort and stability by allowing regular heel-toe walking. The specialized synthetic rubber is resilient and durable while the center slot permits easy and secure application. Walking heels is used for shock absorption when walking with a plaster of Paris or synthetic cast. It protects casts from dirt and moisture and can be integrated while the cast is being applied or added later on.

The walking heel helps patients be sure-footed. It is also lightweight, making it comfortable for patients to wear.

This product is cast from synthetic rubber.

DISPOSABLE AMBULANCE COLLAR

The disposable ambulance collar is used to immobilize the head and neck temporarily, during periods of trauma.

The two chin pieces helps to immobilize the head while the soft tissues in your neck have a chance to heal.

It is important to wear your surgical collar properly to get the maximum benefit. A good collar should decrease motion but not cause discomfort, let your doctor know if your collar is uncomfortable.

PHILADELPHIA COLLAR

The Philadelphia cervical collar is a two piece collar which has a front piece and a back piece and is held together by Velcro straps. The collar is used to support your neck bones and ligaments and reduce any movement that may further damage your neck.

It's important to wear your surgical collar properly to get the maximum benefit. A good collar should decrease motion but not cause discomfort, so let your doctor know if your collar is uncomfortable. The collar should remain on at all times until advised by your doctor. You may require some assistance to change the collar.

ORTHOFIT SOFT COLLAR

The soft surgical collar is used to immobilize the head, relieve neck pain, and allow healing.

The collar helps your neck support the weight of your head while the soft tissues in your neck have a chance to heal. You may need a surgical collar after spinal neck surgery to keep your neck bones in line while you heal. If you have a serious accident, it may be put on you as a precautionary measure until possible injuries to your neck can be evaluated.

WOUND CLOSURE STRIPS

SKIN TRACTION KITS

The adhesive and non-adhesive skin traction kits are used to apply traction to limbs following injury or surgery. The kit contains a foam lined stirrup, with two flexible adhesive side straps used to attach the stirrup to the leg. Traction is applied via the cord fixed to the stirrup. The adhesive skin traction kits provide a non-invasive method of applying traction to a limb. They are secured by use of hypo-allergenic adhesive straps, with an extra long retaining bandage to hold the full assembly in place on any size of limb. The adhesive strapping, conforms well to the contours of the leg.
